OPENSCORES MUSIC MENTORSHIP

Support for school musicians

A school-based program, with help available to surrounding schools by arrangement.

Who it’s for

Music Mentorship primarily supports musicians in a school setting. Teachers and music directors at surrounding schools can also inquire about help for their students or program.

What you can ask about

  • Guidance with music reading, rhythm, and practice.
  • Help finding useful OpenScores materials for your students.
  • A school-based mentoring activity or support for a specific learning goal.

Tell us what your school needs so we can confirm what support is possible.

How to arrange support

  1. A teacher or school contact gets in touch.

Include your school, your role, the group you support, and the musical goal you have in mind.

  2. We discuss the request.

OpenScores will confirm whether the request fits the program and what availability there is.

  3. The school and OpenScores agree on arrangements.

Confirm the format, supervision, and timing before an activity takes place.

An inquiry does not reserve a session. Please leave student names, private account details, and other sensitive information out of the initial message.
