OUR STORY
About the founder
Hi, I'm Aaron. My early compositions go back to 2023. OpenScores began in April 2026, bringing together my interest in writing music and creating useful resources for other musicians.
Band has been part of my life since middle school. I've learned and played flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone, and bassoon, with additional experience on French horn. That experience shapes the music and resources I share here.
The goal is simple: make music education more accessible. OpenScores brings together original scores, practical guidance, and activities that help students explore music and give educators more to work with.

OpenScores brings together three connected parts: the Hub provides music and learning resources, Music Mentorship helps students use them with guidance, and Outreach connects the program with schools and the wider community. Together, they make music education more accessible through resources, support, and community connections.
