How to play

Practice mode waits for the correct notes. Both hands uses a grand staff: upper notes with your right hand, lower notes with your left. Play the two notes together or one at a time in practice mode.

Click a measure to start there. The blue playback bar follows the music and highlights the current measure. Timed mode starts after one measure of count-in. Play each note when it reaches the highlight. Green means correct; red means missed or incorrect. Use the labeled computer keys, touch, or a MIDI keyboard. Hold a key to let it ring; hold Space for the sustain pedal.

Pitch levels control the note range and chords. Choose rhythms in Practice settings for whole notes through thirty-seconds, dotted rhythms, tuplets, rests and ties. Tied notes are held without playing them again. Generated exercises follow your selected key and time signature. Songs use their written key and meter. On-screen piano covers C2 to D6.
